Deeds and listings write area as rai-ngan-wa: 2-1-35 means 2 rai, 1 ngan and 35 square wa. Ngan runs from 0 to 3 and square wa stays below 100 (it may have decimals).
Worked examples
- 2-1-35 to m²: 2 × 400 + 1 × 100 + 35 = 935 sq wa; 935 × 4 = 3,740 m² (≈ 0.37 ha, ≈ 0.92 acre).
- 5,000 m² to rai-ngan-wa: 5,000 ÷ 4 = 1,250 sq wa = 3 rai (1,200) + 50 sq wa = 3-0-50.
