Frequently asked questions
Do I pay when I send a request?
No. Requests are free. We research first and email you the evidence level and price for that parcel; you decide whether to pay.
When do I get the result?
Within 24 hours of your request, usually sooner. It is a researched service, not an instant database. After paying you can download the report right away.
Does the report confirm legal ownership?
No. It names the probable owner based on corroborating evidence. Current legal title must be checked in the register at the land office before any transaction.
What if you cannot find the owner?
If the evidence is insufficient we tell you and charge nothing. If you paid and the report cannot name a probable owner, we refund under our refund policy.
How do I pay? Is it safe?
